Stage 10 of the 2013 Giro comes after the first rest day of this year's race, and stages the day after a rest day are always interesting. It's also the first mountain top finish of the race.

Stage ten will give us a fair idea of who doesn't have the form needed this year to take the fight for the maglia rosa through to the finish in Brescia, with two category one climbs and the aforementioned mountaintop finish.
It's the start of the high mountains, and a 167km ride. There are two ascents to over 1500m, but that doesn't tell the whole story as it's a narrow, twisty road and there's a 2km descent in the middle of the first climb. The second climb of the day has sections over 20% and is very, very tough.
This is going to be a fascinating stage.
